STORM
TO STAY AS AMATEUR
Graeme
Storm, the current British Amateur Champion, has confirmed that
he will stay as an Amateur until at least the US Masters in the
Year 2000, to which he has been invited.
Commenting
on the recent Walker Cup victory, Storm said:
"It
was a great experience and a wonderful team effort to beat the United
States so comprehensively on the final day. Obviously, it was an
added bonus to be able to hole the putt that won the match. I hope
our victory can be a psychological boost to the European Ryder Cup
team."
