Major Boost for Seniors

The Seniors' Golf Association is the first to address golfers over 50. A non-profit making organisation, it will establish competitions and a host of benefits including medical help for those concerned. Pro-ams and celebrity-ams will be arranged as will charity funds of the members' choice.

The Seniors 2 Tour will be launched next spring for amateur golfers aged 55 and over, and will involve at least 40 tournaments nationwide. This should enable lower handicap seniors to compete with their peers and higher handicappers to play competitively as well.
