Free Coaching from EGU

 

The English Golf Union are offering free golf coaching for beginners in a bid to introduce more people to the game.

Following two pilot days at Ramsdale Park Golf Centre in Nottinghamshire and Hoebridge Golf Centre in Surrey, further Clubhaus-sponsored sessions have been arranged at Chelsfield Downs in Hertfordshire, Seedy Mill in Staffordshire and The Warwickshire.

EGU secretary Paul Baxter said: "Coaching is a vital ingredient to the enjoyment of the game. This initiative, sponsored by Prosimmon, will introduce more people to the game, help their understanding of the basic skills and encourage a long-term interest in golf."

The free coaching from fully-qualified professional coaches will last for one hour per group of five.
