ENGLAND BOYS IN WALES
Nick
Dougherty has been named as the England Captain for the Boys Home
Internationals at Conwy, North Wales on 4-6 August.
The
17 year old from Lancashire has been an international for the past
two years and a member of the elite training squad. He was fifth

England side that won the World Boys Team Championships in June
last year. He was also a member of the Side which successfully defended
the team title whilst winning the Individual Prize. Dougherty was
runner up in the McGregor Trophy last year and this year he finished
third in the McEvoy Trophy after carding a course-record 66 in the
final round at Copt Heath, and last week was runner up in the Lancashire

A
member of the Shaw Hill club, Dougherty will lead England at Conwy
as they defend the title they won with a clean sweep at St Andrews
last year.
The
rest of the England team will be announced later.
