CANFORD KIDS FORMING QUEUE

Just over a year ago, the head professional, Martyn Thompson, at The Golf Academy at Canford Magna, near Bournemouth, founded a scheme to teach children between four and eighteen years of age. The Scheme has become known as the "Canford Kids" and is now so popular that waiting lists have had to be set up to cope with the demand.

Standards are high as Martyn comments: "We have at least 12 under-tens who could manage the main course here in less than 100".
