SCOTTISH GOLF:
BOYS COACHING SESSIONS
Newmachar
clubmates Kevin Reid and Euan McIntosh are two of the boys invited
to coaching sessions at hte Scottish National Golf Centre, Drumoig
on 18th and 19th December.
Reid,
the elder at 17 by one year, used that additional experience when
the two rivals met in the quarter final of the Mobil Scottish
Boys at West Kilbride in April, running out the narrowest of winners
at the 19th. However his quest for the title ended in the next
round with a 5/3 defeat at the hands of Williamwoods' Allan Syme.
Other
clubs with two players in the sessions are Lanark with Chris Orr
and Scott Whitelaw and Linlithgow with Richard Ramsey and Jay
Taylor.
