Swingtech
Drives into Schools
Swingtech Mobile
Golf Academy has launched a national initiative to get young kids
off the streets out of the car parks and onto the golf courses.
Swingtech Mobile
Golf Academy brings the golf course to the school and local community
enabling young people to try the game in a welcoming fun environment
Golf which is usually a costly and elitist sport will be offered
to young kids for free giving expert tuition on the basics and etiquette
of the game an opportunity which otherwise may not arise for the
youths.
With golfing
heroes such as Tiger Woods and Nick Dougherty beginning their golfing
careers from as young as years of age Swingtech would be delighted
to inspire such proteges through the Mobile Golf Academy.
Partnering
with the Golf Foundation and Local Authority Sports Development
Officers Swingtech has established a network for schools and Local
Authorities to offer group coaching from the Professional Golfers
Association Swingtech aim to give all youths from various social
circumstances the opportunity to learn about golf the game that
encourages fresh air open spaces and applied concentration Advice
as to where they can continue learning the game can also be given
to enthusiastic golfing juniors.
A state of the
art computer and video analysis of the player's swing and resulting
shot will enable youths to compare their golfing ability against
top tour professionals such as Nick Price Brad Faxen and David Frost.
The technology of the system promotes a Jurassic Park interest holding
the attention span of young youths whilst enabling them to correct
their swing and seek advice on elements affecting their game
The website
www.golfgb.com was created and remains a means of fundraising to
support the Mobile Golf Academy for Schools The site offers discounts
on golfing holidays and useful links to recommended trade and business
contacts. As well as Golf Clubs submitting updates and information
on all promotions free of charge site visitors are able to print
off two for one vouchers valid on over 600 golf courses throughout
the country.
By the year 2004 Swingtech aim to establish several regional facilities
to reach more young people with the Mobile Golf Academy on a regular
basis.
