Leading Lady...... Rebecca Hudson

Rebecca won the English championship at the start of the season, and then repeated her 2000 feat in winning the end-of-season British Women's Strokeplay Championship.

Rebecca from Yorkshire and now 22 had won the European Under 21 Championship in 1999 and 2000 also won the Daily Telegraph Golfer of the Year award in 2001 for a second successive year.

The winner of six points out of six at the Home Internationals at Carlow in Ireland, Rebecca gave the professionals a preview of her potential when she won the amateur medal at the Weetabix British Women's Open at Sunningdale in August.

Finally Rebecca Hudson has also represented Great Britain and Ireland in the last two Curtis Cup matches against the United States.
