Foundation Encourages Youngsters to Get in the Swing for Exciting
Golf Fundraiser
The British
Heart Foundation is a major national charity, which plays a leading
role in the fight against heart and circulatory disease, the UK's
biggest killer. It is the largest independent funder of heart research
in this country. The Foundation also plays an important role in
funding education, both of public and of health professionals, and
in providing life-saving cardiac equipment and support for rehabilitation
and patient care. It receives no Government funding.

WHO?
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) needs more young golfers
to 'get in the swing' and take part in this year's BHF Junior Golf
Championship.
WHAT? The
BHF Junior Golf Championship is open to all under 18s who play golf
at a school or golf club and teams must consist of three people.
Participants get to play on some of the UK's finest golf courses
as well as have the opportunity to win a number of great prizes.
WHY?
Junior Golf is a fundraising initiative. Money raised by participants
will help the BHF continue to fight coronary heart disease - the
UK's single biggest killer.
WHEN? Championship
Preliminary Rounds take place between March and May, with the National
Final staged at the prestigious Belfry in September - the venue
for the Ryder Cup.
