WELSH GOLFING UNION:
HOME INTERNATIONAL TEAM 2000

 

Wales has named 56 year old John Jermine in the team that will represent Wales in the Home Internationals at Carnoustie, Scotland from 13th – 15th September.  The top seven players on the Konica Order of Merit are automatically selected.  The four “wild cards” are Jermine, David Price of the Bargoed Golf Club, Alex Smith from Pyle & Kenfig and 1999 Welsh Amateur Champion, Matthew Griffiths.

THE TEAM SELECTED TO PLAY IN THE HOME INTERNATIONALS ARE:

Jamie Donaldson -  Macclesfield
Nigel Edwards - Whitchurch
Matthew Griffiths - Woodlake Park

Kyron Sullivan - Brynhill
