SCOTTISH
TEAM FOR EUROPEAN BOYS TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Scottish Boys
Champion Steve Buckley and runner-up Mark Risbridger, form the nucleus
of the six-man team which will travel to Noord Nederlandse Golf
Club, Netherlands for the European Boys Team Championship from 11th
to 15th July.
Scotland last
won the European title in 1992 at Conwy in Wales and won with a
young side which includes Jack Doherty, who narrowly missed qualifying
for the Amateur Championship at Hoylake and experienced junior internationals
David Inglis, Kevin Reid and Martin Laird are aiming for a high
finish among the best of Europe’s young golfers.
