LYLE & SCOTT SUPPORT THE ENGLISH GOLF UNION

Lyle & Scott, the world famous golf clothing manufacturer, have announced their continued support of the English Golf Union and England International Golf Teams.

The agreement recently signed commits Lyle & Scott to supplying clothing for the England Men’s Team, England Youth Team and England Boys Team for the 200 golfing season.

Lyle & Scott also supply a wide range of both ladies and men’s clothing to the new Golf Shop at the National Golf Centre, Woodhall Spa.

Mr P M Baxter, Secretary of the EGU comments, “The EGU are very appreciative of the continued generous support offered by Lyle & Scott towards clothing England International Teams.  It is important that the players feel good when representing their country and this is most certainly achieved through the quality of the clothing supplied by Lyle & Scott”.

Mr E J English, UK Sales Manager of Lyle & Scott also stated: “Lyle & Scott is proud to be associated with amateur golf at the highest levels, both the National Golf Centre at Woodhall Spa and all the national teams to whom we wish every success for the forthcoming season”.

Lyle & Scott apparel was worn by the victorious England Mens Team in their international match  against France at Charts Hill Golf Club recently and the next international fixture will be the England Boys Team who will travel to Tojo Golf Club, Japan to defend the World Junior Golf Team Championship title which they won in 1998 and 1999.
