All Change at Top of Order of Merit Table

Rebecca Hudson and Emma Duggleby traded places at the top of the ELGA Order of Merit table following Rebecca’s win in the British Ladies Open Amateur Championship at Walton Heath.  Quickly four up in the final against Emma, the reverse of the position in the English Close Championship when Emma took a similar early lead, Rebecca never lost control of the match and secured 600 Order of Merit points for her efforts to lead Emma by 175 points with four more eligible events to come.

Rebecca Prout followed her impressive win in the Welsh Stroke Play Championship with a good run in the British Championship, reaching the quarter finals, and secured 200 points to take third place in the table, albeit some distance behind second placed Emma Duggleby.

Eligible Events still to be played, and well worth watching, are: The English Stroke Play Championship (Silloth on Solway) 25^th – 27 July; The English Intermediate Championship (Frilford Heath) 15^th - 18^th August; The British Stroke Play Championship (Royal County Down) 30^th August – 1^st September.
