EGU Countdown to 2002

The 2002 English Golf Union County Finals will be held at La Moye Golf Club in Jersey from September 27-29, the first time an EGU championship or final has been staged off the mainland.

Also in 2002, the Brabazon Trophy will be held at Royal Liverpool where it last went in 1989 and the English Amateur Championship will be staged at Walton Heath. The Boys County Finals will be at St Annes Old Links in Lancashire, the English Seniors will be played at the Cheshire clubs of Heswall and Bromborough, the McGregor Trophy goes to Sheringham in Norfolk, the Carris Trophy to Beau Desert in Staffordshire and the Reid Trophy to Catterick in Yorkshire.

The Champion Club tournament will be held at Northamptonshire County and the IMS finals at Seacroft in Lincolnshire. The match between the England and Scotland Under-16s will be at Silloth-on-Solway in Cumbria while the Under-16 Boys will take on the Under-18 Girls at Pleasington in Lancashire.
