Last
hole-in-one of the century?
The
honour of shooting the last hole-in-one of the 20th century in Britain
has been claimed
by
a 23-year-old assistant professional at King's Hill Golf Club, West
Malling.
James
Carter used a 7-iron to hole his tee-shot at the par-3 sixth hole
- his second ace in 12
months.
He went on to hole a 100-yard sand-iron shot at the seventh and
to birdie the eighth,
a
run of 1-2-2 or eagle-eagle-birdie.
