Faldo Revises Junior Series

Nick Faldo has introduced a new age band to the Faldo Junior Series. The 18-21 group is aimed specifically at ensuring that talented young golfers continue to progress during the later stages of their golfing education.

"When players reach the age of 18, they often hit a void in their golfing career. By introducing the 18-21 category, I can keep in touch with our top boys and girls and continue to help them reach their full potential," said the six-times major winner.

The newly formed under-21 section requires a handicap limit of five. Players will compete in three regional events, with the leaders from each region qualifying for the end-of-year Faldo Junior Series final, hosted by the former world No 1 himself.

Participants will also benefit from a series of educational seminars on many aspects of the sport. For an entry form and information about the Faldo Junior Series 2001, call 020-7907-4520
