All 10 members of the England squad for the annual Under-16 match against Scotland a week later, plus the two non-travelling reserves, have been named for the annual one-day clash against the England Under-18 Girls at Stowmarket Golf Club, Suffolk on 1 October.

McGregor Trophy winner, Michael Skelton, European Young Masters representative, Eren Behcet and Simon Bell, the English Schools Champion, who reached the quarter finals of the English Amateur Championship, form the backbone of the 12-strong squad.

The others are Paul Jones, Farren Keenan, Robert McGregor, Jamie Moul, Peter Richardson, James Ruth, Lee Shepherd, plus Jack Budget and Tim Dainty, the non-travelling reserves for the Scotland International.

This will be the sixth match against the Under-18 Girls which rewards some of England's most promising youngsters, many of whom are likely to become boy internationals in the coming years.
