American Golf-UK are delighted to announce that their annual Women in Golf Day will be held on Saturday 8th April at all nineteen of their locations in the UK. Since it's introduction in 1998, the Women in Golf Day initiative has gone from strength to strength and this year 2,500 women are expected to take part and will be treated to free golf clinics, demonstrations and other golf-related special events.

Staged at 19 courses in the south east, south west and Midlands areas of England, Women in Golf Day is designed to introduce golf to women in a fun, non-intimidating environment and is open to women of all ages and skill levels. In addition to golf instruction clinics, (both for novice and advanced players), activities will include golf etiquette lessons, putting contest, fashion shows, refreshments and fun and games. The events and activities are free yet funds raised on the day from donations will go to the Marie Curie Cancer Care.
