The 15-year-old international from Woburn was eight-under par for the 72 holes and was beaten only by the Jutanugarn sisters from Thailand. Moriya, 17, won the tournament on 12-under par while Ariya, 16, was runner-up on nine-under.
The result was a turnaround from the previous week on Florida's Orange Blossom Tour, when Charley won the Harder Hall Invitational, ahead of Ariya and Moriya.
The three players had left the rest of the Sally field trailing with fourth place claimed by US player Alex Stewart on two-over par, ten shots behind Charley.
Fellow England international Holly Clyburn (Woodhall Spa) was ninth on ten-over par 298, while Rachel Drummond (Beaconsfield) shared 14th place on 305 and Harriet Beasley (Woburn) tied 36th on 320. The championship was contested by 90 players.
This week, Charley defends her title in the Jones Doherty matchplay championship at the Coral Ridge Country Club in Florida.
