Wiltshire Air Ambulance presented with donation from Marlborough Golf Club

Trish King, past Lady Captain, Marlborough Golf Club presented Bruce Jarvis, Helicopter Paramedic, Wiltshire Air Ambulance with a cheque today for £2,100.  Trish paid tribute to the generosity of members and visitors to the Club who supported the many events held during this, the Ladies Centenary Year at Marlborough which made this donation possible.  Bruce assured Trish that the funds  would be put to good use and was delighted to be able to accept the very kind donation on behalf of the Air Ambulance service.

Marlborough Junior attains professional status …

Lewis Richardson has turned Professional. Lewis joined the Marlborough Golf Club back in May 2004 and has been an active and valued member of the junior section. He plans to play on the Jamega Golf Tour in 2010 ( http://www.jamegatour.co.uk/ ).  The MGC Junior section along with all the members of the Club wish him the very best of luck!

Results information … a popular series of events, the annual Turkey Trots in December, there was a particularly bumper turnout on Saturday 12 th December with over 160 golfers chasing the coveted prizes!  It's a very Merry Christmas for some!
