Marlborough held its annual Mixed Open on Sunday 8 th August.  52 ladies and gentlemen took part in the competition, the weather was kind and the course was playing well.  The winning visitors were Lesley and Ray Compton from Andover Golf Club with 40 points.  Trish and Jeff King posted the best home side score with 43 points.  Everyone enjoyed a meal after the game and vowed to return.

Ladies Mid Week Medal CSS: 74 Par: 72

1 st           Isobel Henry      78 – 12 = 66 (H'cap 10.2)

2 nd           Trish King             89 – 12 = 77 (H'cap 11.6)

3 rd            Sue Tulloh           93 – 15 = 78

Ladies Saturday Stableford CSS: 73 Par: 72

1 st            Jenny Swift         38 pts    (H'cap 21.7)

2 nd           Jeanette Patch  35 pts    (H'cap 25.1)

3 rd            Mandy Cooper  32 pts (H'cap 24.0)
