Pat Sutton's drive in as Captain

Marlborough's new Lady Captain, Pat Sutton had a particularly worrying time prior to her Drive-In on Sunday 15 th November.  The weather a few days before had been spectacularly wet and windy so it did not seem like her first event as Lady Captain was going to be quite the success she had hoped for!

However, Sunday morning dawned bright and clear much to her relief and that of all those who had signed up for the competition.  Playing full handicap, individual stableford competition, everyone had near perfect golfing conditions. 

Our Greenkeeper and his team ensured the course was in great shape.  To round off a fabulous day, Pat announced she had raised over £600 for her charity, Naomi House.
