New date for EWGA's challenge to TV's Eggheads

The EWGA team took on the Eggheads on the 3rd December with a chance to win £2000 - see the end of the story for the result.

The programme will now be shown at 6pm on Wednesday, December 3, a day later than originally planned.

The EWGA team of England's Roses is made up of: Linda Bayman, performance director; Kirstie Jennings, compliance officer, and Karen Cassidy, compliance administrator; Sara Garbutt, a Yorkshire player and former English strokeplay champion; Kelly Hanwell, a regional development officer and Emma Lowe, tournament secretary.

As well as tackling the quiz questions the team – dressed in England pink – also took the opportunity to tell the audience about women's golf.

How did they do? All will be revealed on December 3. Don't miss it!
